Matrox to drop the world's first Single-Slot Octal (8 Monitor) Graphics Card
Back in the day, before ATI, Nvidia and 3DFX started the 3D graphics card wars, we all wanted Matrox video cards. They were the cards offering crazy things, like the ability to have two monitors and high resolutions. Of course I'm talking 1999/2000, but once the cheaper Nvidia and and ATI cards started to show up on the market, we forgot about Matrox.
To be fair, Matrox cards have always been more for the professional than the gamer, but that doesn't stop you drooling at what they have to offer. And again they look to excite, with the M9188 which will offer 8 screens and the ability to add a second card to give 16 screens. Finally I'll be able to have all my social apps open and viewable all at once. I'm going to need a bigger desk, and a second job.
There is a good wrap-up of the details over at Hothardware.com, and you have gotta love those specs.

...if it ain't Broken, get a bigger desk.
